BSCW Announce (EN) Security updates BSCW versions 5 and 7
Dear users and administrators of the BSCW software,
the new versions of BSCW Classic 5.2.5 and BSCW Social 7.4.4 are available as of today.
Both versions contain fixes for critical security vulnerabilities that have been corrected during further intensive security audits (thanks to Armin Stock <armin.stock@atos.net>). Specifically, the corrected vulnerabilities will be published in the Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures database (cve.org) and on our website (www.bscw.de/security-fixes) as of 2021-11-29.
All versions 5 and 7 of the BSCW software are affected.
BSCW instances of customers that are maintained by OrbiTeam (maintenance or hosting contracts) are updated in time so that no further action is required.
Self maintained BSCW instances need to be updated immediately. If you are using an older version of BSCW, you have to update to BSCW 5.2.5 or BSCW 7.4.4 (all older versions have reached their end-of-life!).
